Regimental Sunday

 

For the past 65 years Warrington's local infantry regiment has held its main annual reunion in the town over the first weekend in October. The gathering, popularly known as the 'October Revolution' is jointly hosted by the borough and the regiment and this year it was attended by 22 civic parties from throughout the historic county of Lancashire.
