Learning disabilities
We recognise that people with learning disabilities want the opportunity to lead full and rewarding lives. We also recognise that people with learning disabilities value their independence and the right to make their own choices about things such as how they wish to be supported and by whom, where they live and how they keep themselves active and occupied.
Warrington Adult Social Services works closely with the health service, voluntary organisations and many other organisations in order to ensure that a wide range of services are available to support people with learning disabilities. We also listen closely to the views of people who use our services and their carers and recognise that this is essential in both making sure that people get the right kinds of support and that we are always trying to improve the services we offer to people.
This part of the website provides information about a wide range of services designed to support people with learning disabilities.
