It is clear that there is an ongoing investment being made by homeowners in their properties. In many cases, owners are financing these works by home improvement loans or even equity release.

Warrington's Housing Renewals Policy 2003 has been prepared in response to the Government's recent reform of housing grants.  We want to help more people in private housing to have the opportunity of a decent home and this policy supports new ways to fund repair and improvements to the homes of low income/vulnerable homeowners/tenants, especially older people.
