14 - 19 strategy division

The 14-19 team work in partnership with schools, colleges, businesses and specialist colleges to ensure that young people in Warrington are offered a range of high quality learning opportunities up to the age of 19.

They are responsible for the development of an effective strategy to improve the educational outcomes for young people aged 14-19, ensuring that all young people have the opportunity to reach their potential.

They work closely with headteachers and college principals to agree the strategy and funding, and with curriculum deputies to implement the strategy.

The 14-19 strategy is developed through strong collaborative leadership and operational management with high levels of trust and commitment between all the local schools and colleges.  The partnership has committed to become collectively responsible for all Warrington students not just those who attend their own institutions, ensuring all young people are appropriately supported to achieve their potential.
