Play and leisure for children with additional needs

Parents have told us how hard it can be to find out what’s on specifically for disabled children and young people in Warrington when it comes to play and leisure opportunities, so we now produce 'What’s On…'  a listing of all the activities we know of that are inclusive or are specifically designed for disabled children and young people.  If you would like a copy please let us know.

Of course many of the play areas in local parks have equipment suitable for disabled children, and all our playschemes and summer activities are inclusive.

If you would like to receive information about services and support for disabled children and young people, you can join the Disabled Children's Register.  The Register is voluntary and allows families to sign up to a regular e-newsletter.
