Children's homes regulation 33 visit

The conference and review managers will make monthly unannounced inspection visits to Warrington Borough Council’s residential homes. The main purpose of the visit is to promote the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people living in the home.

In addition to looking at files and talking to staff the conference and review managers will meet and talk to children and young people living in the home to ascertain their views, comments and any complaints about the running of the home.

Warrington Borough Council’s elected council members will also visit the homes as part of the regulation 33 inspection and may visit jointly with the conference and review manager.

At the end of the inspection the conference and review manager and council member will provide a report to Ofsted.
