Members of the public are welcome to attend all meetings of the council, committees and sub-committees. Only meetings, or parts of meetings where confidential or other restricted information is being discussed are not open to the public or press.

Council meetings are normally held in the evening and take place at the Town Hall, Sankey Street.

Public notice is given in advance of all council meetings including whether or not they are open to the public.
