HMS Turbulent

In 1984 Warrington re-affirmed it’s wish for stronger links with the Royal Navy and welcomed officers and crew of Warrington’s adopted submarine, HMS Turbulent.

Visit to Warrington - January 2007

Warrington welcomed the Commander NS Bower RN and crew from Warrington's adopted submarine, HMS Turbulent over a four day visit to the town.

The crew enjoyed a busy programme including a reception hosted by the Captain, visits to Warrington Wolves and the Peace Centre and concluding with a service at the Parish Church.

Members of the crew took part in a cycle ride from Plymouth to Warrington raising funds towards the Mayor's charity appeal 2006-07.

Visit to Warrington - November 2004 
The Ship’s Company from HMS Turbulent visited Warrington to rekindle their close relationship with the town and to take part in the Annual Remembrance Day Service, held at the War Memorial, Bridge Foot

A civic reception was arranged to welcome HMS Turbulent and her crew to the town.
