The neighbourhoods and communities OSC scrutinises a wide variety of council services including community development, mental health, learning and physical disabilities, social care for older people and leisure and cultural services, neighbourhood management and the council’s main customer interface ‘Contact Warrington.’

This committee also exercises the authority’s scrutiny powers as the statutory Crime and Disorder Committee under the Police and Justice Act 2006.
