Friends of Walton Hall Music Society

The society (established in 1990) promotes recitals in Walton Hall's music room in order to provide experience for young musicians from local music colleges, especially students from the Royal Northern College of Music.

The aims of the society are:

  • to promote recitals by young professional musicians in their early years out of college.
  • to promote recitals by college students and local gifted amateurs as well as established professional musicians.
  • to provide a suitably balanced, varied and attractive programme for each season.

Currently single tickets cost £10 including refreshments.  Season tickets are also available at advantageous terms.
