How to claim

If you have made a claim for income support, jobseekers allowance, employment support allowance or pension credit then if you tell them that you want to claim housing and/or council tax benefit at the same time then you will not need to make a separate claim with us. You can call 0800 055 6688 (Department for Work and Pensions) to check this.
