Severe weather helpline

During the severe weather the council and NHS Warrington want to ensure vulnerable residents are as safe and comfortable as possible.

If you or someone you know is unable to leave the house because of dangerous weather conditions, there is a number you can call for help to have shopping delivered to your house, prescriptions picked up and pensions collected.

The helpline will only operate during severe weather and is aimed at residents with poor mobility who do not have help or support, or anyone who has concerns about someone who may be stranded at home.

It's only available whilst the weather is considered dangerous but can be triggered Monday - Friday between 8.30am - 5.00pm.

The number to call is 01925 442244.

An out of hours service will also operate in the evenings, weekends and on bank holidays, but this will be restricted to emergencies only. Telephone: 01925 444400.

We will update this page to advise when the helpline is/isn't available:

Due to current weather conditions the helpline is not available
