Welcome to the Warrington Partnership...
These partnership pages provide you with information about Warrington Partnership and the way it works.
The Warrington Partnership brings together different organisations from the public, private and third/voluntary sectors. In this way the partnership aims to ensure that different initiatives and services work together more efficiently and effectively, deliver better value and benefits, and improve the quality of life for local people. Through joint working we have a far greater chance of success as we work towards achieving our partnership vision, which states:
"By 2030, Warrington will be recognised as one of the best places to live and work in the UK, where everyone enjoys an outstanding quality of life"
The Warrington Partnership Board, which provides high level direction and planning activity across a broad range of partner organisations including: public sector organisations which serve the local area, such as the Police, PCT, Council and Fire Service; third sector (voluntary and community) organisations like the Citizens Advice Bureau the private sector. Board meeting papers for recent and upcoming meetings can be found on the partnership boards and groups page.

Key documents
To help guide its work the Partnership has developed a Sustainable Community Strategy which sets out a joint vision and ambitions for Warrington in the future. It was developed in consultation with residents, businesses and other local stakeholders and uses local research into Warrington's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The full community strategy (One Warrington One Future – where everyone matters), first produced in 2009, can be found here: Sustainable_Community_Strategy_2009.pdf. Earlier this year the strategy was reviewed and the priorities updated.
The UPDATED Sustainable Community Strategy can be found here: Sustainable_Community_Strategy_updated_2011.doc. The updated strategy still reflects long term priorities and aspirations of the original strategy, but also sets out key activities for the Warrington Partnership in the short term.
