Bikeability Level 2 training is available free of charge to every 10 year old in the borough. It is delivered in primary schools by the council’s contracted providers, Bikeright of Manchester.

Fully qualified instructors take the children out to a quiet junction and teach the outcomes below.

Children must have a roadworthy bike and be able to perform the Level 1 manoeuvres before being accepted on Level 2 courses, so practice with a parent/guardian is recommended.
